“Chucks” Redesigned!!!

For the first time in 98 years, Converse introduces the ‘Chuck II’, a sleeker, more comfortable version of its iconic Chuck Taylor All-Stars sneakers.
While it seems that Chuck II has retained the classic look of the Chuck Taylor, Converse—which was bought over by Nike in 2003 after it went bankrupt—has now included of a new sockliner called “Lunarlon”, a lightweight and bouncy foam support found in running and basketball shoes.
Other notable features of the Chuck II includes a padded non-slip tongue, which provides 360-degree comfort around the ankle, and a perforated suede liner, which helps improve breathability.
The Chuck II comes in four colors—Black, Salsa Red, Sodalite Blue, and White—and will be available on 28 July 2015, at US$15 more than the originals, costing US$75 for the high-top, and US$70 for its low-top version.
